We Believe in One Lord Jesus Christ

The Creed is divided into three sections,
each beginning with the affirmation
We believe.

Before we get too deep in the second part of the Creed, 
let’s define some terms going forward.

This faith is the “catholic” 
and “orthodox” faith.

Catholic means universe or universal.  
It comes from a very common Jewish prayer:
Baruch atta Adonai, Eloheinu ma…
